Meet Sara
All through her childhood Sara Thornton had one goal: to be a professional TV presenter.
After gaining an English and Drama degree, she was accepted into a Broadcast Journalism programme
and joined the BBC straight from graduation.
But during her three decades on TV, she was harbouring a secret ambition to give acting a go.
A brief stint working in the media team at The Royal Shakespeare Company convinced her to apply to
professional drama school.
Making that decision was only the start of an incredibly competitive, emotional, but rewarding journey.
Follow Sara as she navigates the biggest, and hopefully best, challenge of her life, and hear the stories of the fascinating people she's meeting along the way who also can't ignore the call of the stage.
